I’m very excited to introduce the first Botanika podcast hosted on No Man’s Blog.
Last week I felt like a wannabe DJ who joyfully spins his records in a local place for a couple of dozens of people and then, out of the blue, finds himself playing in a 2500 people’s gig…. Big thanks to everyone, especially to the viral community pals Mack and Karl.
So I talked to Egoz, one of my best mates and music mentor. Egoz is a gifted DJ, music philosopher, journalist and tireless collector with a rare ear for the groooooove and soul. The breadth and depth of his dealing with music is simply exceptional and when he plays his records…mmmm…he’s a looooovemaker….
I got his blessing to start a monthly series of Botanika podasts on this blog - check out their website as well as MySpace- if you’re fond of high-quality, soulful, thoughtful, ear-provoking tunes you’ll find here some gems and bombshells you won’t find anywhere else…
The first is one of my favorites 1hour set from their weekly gig on 106FM in Tel Aviv:
I hope you’ll enjoy it and hopefully one day in the near future we’ll have Egoz’s sets exclusively for NMB.
Enjoy the party!
