Another fine branded-content project from hubbub, this time for HSBC mortgages. The insight behind this project is simple: buying a property, especially (but not only) for first-time buyers is a grueling process that involves a certain amount of anxiety. After all, for most of us, buying a home is arguably the biggest financial move we’ll ever be doing. And for some reasons, perhaps because estate agents are , how to say it? not the most honest people you’ll find… there is a constant feeling of luck of knowledge/experience that might lead to taking the wrong decisions. Thus, learning, is one of the most valuable thing you could do for your consumers.
The solution - The Property Panel:
Imagine having your estate agent, solicitor, financial advisor and surveyor all in one room debating the issues you need to know about when buying a home. This is a unique opportunity to send in all the questions you have and discover what some of the country’s most successful property experts have to say about buying a home. It is planned to be a monthly webcast where a team of highly qualified professionals come together to discuss and debate the burning issues surrounding property, on anything from buying your first home to remortgaging.
The next step, which is in recruiting phase is Moving Stories:
"If you’re planning to buy a home in the next six months, this is your chance to appear in the series as one of the ’stars’ - plus we’ll give you £1,000 if you’re selected. That should help with the new curtains!
We’re looking for couples, friends or individuals who are about to buy their first home or are thinking of remortgaging their property, to participate in this series. All you need to do is apply.
If you’re selected, we’ll give you a video camera to record ‘live’ diaries of your home-buying experience. A professional film crew will also be sent to follow you at key moments like making an offer or negotiating with the agent. Plus you’ll get to keep the video camera!"
