What do you do if you keep reading about all the buzz around Second Life and WOW and the rest of the fastest growing virtual worlds, you’re curious but you really don’t have a clue about this stuff?

In times when my grandmother would have opened a falafel stall in Second Life if she had known how to get there and Jaffe did just that (or similar) its time for someone to see the potential and establish the bridge between geekland and the real world, and Synthtravels does just that – a guided tour to every popular virtual world.

I think this is fantastic idea. The online multiple gaming world is a fascinating sub-culture that captures millions of people across the globe and now with Synthtravel, non-gamers can now get a glimpse of these worlds with their cult-building/islands/locations which can now turn into cult sightseeing tours.

Whats more, I can think of thousands of sick-worried parents that watch their teenagers kids spending hours and hours in these virtual worlds and genuinely concerned that their boy or girl are members of some satanic or digital-pagan sect…. with these tours they can learn about these worlds and perhaps better understand their children (or husbands…).
