(Chilled) coffee morning

Russell probably won’t forgive me for that… Just back from a very early and quite chilled coffee morning. When I arrived (7am) Russell was still waking up (although some would say that Russell always looks like he’s waking up 
) and for a second there I thought that I just earned myself a private meeting, but then Froggy arrived and Ben, Faris, Andy and Henry. Since Bar Italia has only bar stools inside we had to sit outside and if was pretty chilled…but it was great meeting all these nice people.
It was very interesting to be at SOHO at 6.45am. Still quite dark and a mixture of shady people after seemingly long night with sleepish early birds waking up into the day, street cleaning and delivery trucks.
I was planning on tracking the spread of the coffee morning craze which as far as I can tell was started by Russell and like a good viral it has infected bloggers all over the globe: NYC, Chicago, SF, Sydney, and Calgary to name but a few.
The best things are those where the online and offline intertwined and these coffee mornings are great example for that.
Hi Asi, nice to meet you too, albeit briefly. In your picture, I’m at the back on the left, but you’ve called me andy! Hopefully we’ll get to chat properly next time
