For quite a while now I’m thinking of the need to create a website for all the creative planners/strategists that will turn into a vibrant editorial and forum-like destination with all sorts of good stuff, campaign reviews, analysis etc.
Something that’s already happening all over in our blogs but might be great to have it also in one organised place.
Something like Russell meets Richard meets John meets Jon meets Iain meets Faris meets Gareth meets Mark meets Mark meets John etc. [sorry for being lazy to recognize everyone but you get my point...]
Something which the APG website should have turned into but sadly it’s not.
Think of all the passionate people who joined the debate over at Richards‘, take them to a more neutral place with guest editors, hot-topics-debates and a vibrant forum for people to ask some questions and we can have really great fun there.
What do you think?
How about plannersphere.com?

Hi Asi, first let me congratulate you for the new domain, you have done a great work with the design. I like your idea (I hope it’s open to non-british planners too), it’s sounds like a wikipedia for planners, right? I have been thinking in something similar by myself, you know how often is said that to understand consumers we should start by understand how we consume, I was thinking to call it â€My life as a consumerâ€. But now that you are suggesting this I think it could be part of it, what do you think?… Anyway, your proposal could become the ultimate site to the planning community and something much needed in fact. If I can help you with anything just let me know.
