Had a nice quite evening in with Sheira yesterday (sent my folks to Paris) and we did what we haven’t done for quite a long time now - watching telly the old way…just turning it on and zapping aimlessly to find something to get stuck on (need to get sky+ AND apple TV. Urgently…)
And let me tell you, while I’m no ad-hater these commercial breaks increasingly feel totally anachronistic.
But I’ve learned a couple of things:
1. Women are stupid. Or at least that’s what those who make these beauty and cosmetics ads targeted at women think.
2. Kenco Coffee are deceivers. While their coffee is NOT fairtrade, they claim 3 times during the ad that it is “ethically sourced”
3. Credit cards ads are soooo lame.
4. There were more but I don’t remember them now.

The magic concept of “fair trade†is far from being a perfect system.
