The new WWF (World Wildlife NOT the wrestling cheeky…) campaign, for a stronger Climate Bill is now live. One of the key points they are pushing is to include international shipping and aviation in the bill so we’re going to construct a giant paper boat and giant paper plane to be first exhibited somewhere in London and then deliver them to parliament.
What I really like (and fear!) about this project is that many nuances and final details will be figured out on the go - there just wasn’t enough time to figure it all out in advance as we are tied to the political process regarding the bill - so on the campaign’s blog you should find updates on where we are with it, how big really is it going to be, where is it all taking place, planning, progress, hopes and fears etc….
What I do know is that these massive paper boat/plane will be covered in the names of the people who have pledged their support so please visit the lovely microsite that cookie put together and sign your name and if you like it please help us make it bigger and noisier by telling all your friends about it - as you can imagine, there is virtually no media budget to this one so we really need your help here.
