Last September I was really fortunate to participate in Discovering Voices - a week long workshop at the ICA, that is a strand of their Cultural Leadership Program. Apart from the program itself which was meticulously curated and very insightful indeed, I spent a whole week with truly inspiring people from across the culture, arts and creative spheres (composers, curators, writers, designers, poets, film-makers etc) , all in a very exciting stage of their personal and professional development.
Due to the success of the first round they are doing another one next January. It is best suited for creatives contemplating or already taken their first entrepreneurial steps, whether it’s opening your own shop, going freelance of any sort or generaly want to change the world and need some help in developing skills to go about and make their dreams come true.
Now, not only is the program amazing, it is actually free (subsidized by the ICA) so if you think this might be something for you or know someone who might be interested contact the amazing Maria Georka who organises and orchestrates this workshop at maria.georka@ica.org.uk
