I’m breaking my promise to myself NOT to blog about anything related to the American elections. There are few reasons to this imbecilic decision (not to blog about the elections, that is) but mainly it’s because 94% of the time I honestly believe that, as my all-time heroes put it, elections in the western world are always between a giant douche and a turd sandwich. Having said that, these elections are indeed the best show in town. It is really hard to imagine life without social media.
I don’t really know what to think about famous people getting engaged with the elections. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it’s plain daft and patronising. This one from the lovely lovely ass-biting brain-twisting Sarah Silverman is something in the middle. At least it made me lough out loud. Especially when she convinced me how similar young blacks and old Jewish people are…
