I suck x 3 meme

I’m getting bored with being tagged in nicey nicey memes so in protest of tiring memes i’ve decided to create one myself!

It’s quite simple – write about 3 things you suck at.

1. I suck at organisation. I’m arguably one of the less organised persons on earth. I’ve tried everything: paper, PDA, to-do lists, reminders, diaries and what not. I just can’t stick to anything. i once did a rough calculation and this probably costs me around £250 a year (late bills and parking penalty notice etc) but as my mate once told me this is a fairly good deal for not worrying about being organised.

2. I suck at DIY. This is probably some Freudian subconscious stuff related to my father who simply does EVERYTHING with his hands – from building houses to electricity, mechanics to decoration – never in my life have I seen a handymanat our place. And here the apple couldn’t fall farther away from the tree. The height of my DIY capabilities is probably changing a light bulb and something can go wrong even with that. Last time I try to build some shelves unit, 20 min after I was done it fell off and cracked the screen of my brand new laptop. I stopped trying ever since.

3. I suck at technology. No, really. When we were kids we use to take the piss out of my mum for not being able to operate a VHS player beyond pressing the play/stop button. Twenty plus years later and I have to admit the apple didn’t fall off etc. I’m a technophobe in the closet. For every gadget or software I have I’m probably using 5% of it’s capabilities. I honestly don’t understand why there are twenty different video files, what the hell you need an FTP for, HTML, CSS, and Java all sound like tropical diseases to me….please don’t ask me how I ended up in digital…

Don’t worry I’m not gonna tag anyone. If you want to protest against wearisome blogosphere memes just invent one yourself or write about the stuff you really suck at ;-)
